1st of all, i chose this song by Flyleaf because again, LSS attack mode or maybe i can just relate to it. I fell in love with the song and easily got attached to it. weird... I'm also intrigued with the meaning of this song.
Just like Paramore, Flyleaf is a christian band and we seldom misinterpret some of their songs as "love songs" in where they're actually intended as "Praise Songs".
In a christian POV, "Tiny Heart" is a song about God calling to us trying to reach us. yes, God is can also be jealous in a way but He waits. No matter how much we sin, He's still always there for us. Loving us. Caring for us. We point are attention to other things that there are times that we forget about Him. But He's still there. Always there inside that TINY HEART of ours.
On the other side, THE LOVE SONG PART about a relationship, it's a song about this boy/girl that likes this girl/boy but he/she just couldn't get her/his attention towards him/her.
But she/he likes every other boy/girl except him/her, and doesn't feel one bit of guilt about it. And he's/she's left waiting for this girl/boy who will never love him/her back.I think the part where it says "when will you get back to me..." means that maybe she/he liked him/her at one point, maybe she's/he's an ex or they used to be friends but lost that friendship because of his/her confession of his/her feelings..
It also talks about how they're soulmates. How he/she thinks she's/he's his/her "other half" ("when will you recognize the beat of my own heart making your blood flow, so your chest can rise and fall"). Maybe its just a line meaning that he/she helps her/him.
And the part "you will never know what you have done to me" etc. is the part where he/she expresses his/her hurt/anger towards this boy/girl who's rejecting him/her. And how he's/she's saying that he/she will never let go and always love him/her, and that she'll/he'll never be alone.
He/she says that he'll/she'll always love this girl/boy and how he'll/she'll always be waiting.
Well that was a long explanation, but no matter what the real meaning of this song is, I love it! One of the best song ever!
Now on my graphical interpretation, I don't know. I'm just trying to give it an "emo" touch. You can see a girl holding this balloon heart, while hopelessly waiting for this boy to come back to her. With all of the pictures and photographs of their past memories lingering on her.
And to add the Christian meaning, in our darkest hours, God is always there for us to give us light for every second of that hour. I divided the canvas between dark and light. And the hot air balloons, i don't know, probably a sign of hope, happiness, and freedom.

yipz. they are. but not all their songs are about praise. they started out as c-band but the mainstream hit and mtv changed the way they make music. damn. hehe

Paramore's "My Heart" is actually a song about praising God.
is that for real? i haven't really thought of it like that and i've listened to that song like more than a million times now. i've always thought it as a song dedicated for a paramour, and not God.
yipz. well as far as the song goes. if you'll listen to it, yeah you'll easily say it's a love song. but if you read the lyrics, it's so different.

you see what i mean? =) On an interview, Hayley said that not all their songs were meant as what it sounds like. some have a deeper meaning over the words. My Heart is even more of a praise song than Hallelujah.
about the Christian band thing, wikipedia said they are but kerang magazine said they aren't. but whatever they are, chirstian band or not, they still rock! haha paramore lurve! it's a sad thing that mtv changed the way they do music.
okey so one thing to prove that My Heart IS A Praise song, you should try to see them on their live shows when they perform this song, the part when Hayley repeatedly sings "this hear it beats, beats for only you" and before Josh screams, you can always see from the screen on their background these words flashing...
"My heart is fixed, O God. My heart is fixed. I will sing and give praise."

well, ok. that DOES make sense. and yeah, Christian band or not, Paramore's awesome! i keep playing My Heart with my guitar and i think its the only song i'll never forget to play! haha! you should try. Learn to be the rockstar that you've always wanted to be. d:)
